Overview
The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Data Analyst in health informatics, complex data analysis, and workforce modeling, with a proven track record of driving impactful change within healthcare organizations. Will play a critical role in delivering insights that inform decision-making and foster improvements in patient care and operational efficiency.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in data analysis, healthcare analytics or business intelligence or related field is required.
5-10 years operational management experience within the health service and/or management consultancy within the healthcare sector
Proven experience in data science, with a focus on healthcare analytics and business intelligence.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in complex data analysis, demand, capacity, and performance modeling.
Experience in health informatics.
Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Passion for delivering sustainable results and making a real difference in healthcare outcomes.
A strong work ethic and values-driven approach to projects that offer lasting value and impact.
Prior experience working on high-profile projects within the HLS, including theater (OR) capacity management and COVID-19 impact assessments.
Experience leading analytical and modeling efforts for cancer pathways and workforce needs, ideally in collaboration with cancer alliances or similar organizations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to deliver successful transformation programs across a variety of healthcare systems and providers.
Analysis and problem solving: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and able to translate personal experience and knowledge into approaches and solutions to client problems.
Project Management: Able to work within formal project and change management disciplines, excellent attention to detail to ensure the high quality of workstream outputs.
Communication: Aptitude to engage and influence client staff while ensuring clarity and impact, in both verbal and written communication.
Effective teamwork: Able to work effectively as part of a team and, on occasions, lead a small team, knowing when and how to contribute specialist input for maximum impact.
Stakeholder Management: Capable of building strong, expertise and trust-based relationships with trust staff and through this drive tangible improvements in productivity.
